27. Marriage: Exoskeleton & Skateboard

In this Chapter we will assembly together the Exoskeleton sub assembly (14-19. Chapter) and the Skateboard sub assembly (20-25. Chapter).

Step 1: Insert nuts

For the following step, please prepare:

Cybertruck Skateboard (1x)
M3 Hexagon Nut (4x)


Sub-Steps:

Put four M3 Hexagon Nut in the Skateboard () slot
Check six M3 Nuts in the Skateboard


If need, push the Hexagon nuts in the slot, until it is arrive in the final position

Step 2: Remove front doors

For the following step, please prepare:

Exoskeleton Rear Doors (2x)
Exoskeleton Front Doors (2x)


Sub-Steps:

, Open the Rear and the Front Doors
Gently remove the front doors


The doors need to remove to have access to a few fixing screws

Step 3: Marriage

For the following step, please prepare:

Exoskeleton (1x)
Skateboard (1x)
M3x10 Screw (6x)


Sub-Steps:

Gently place the Exoskeleton on the Skateboard () from top, make sure that they fit perfectly to each other
Tighten with 3-3 Screws the Exoskeleton () to the Skateboard ()


Be carefully during the Exoskeleton and the Skateboard Marriage!

Step 4: Storage box fixing

For the following step, please prepare:

Tonneau cover (1x)
Storage Box cover
 Storage Box Floor
M3x8 Screw (2x)


Sub-Steps:

Open the Tonneau cover
Open the Storage Box cover and remove the Storage Box Floor ()
Tighten with 2 Screws the Exoskeleton () to the Skateboard ()
Place back the Storage Box Floor
Close the Storage Box cover


Tighten carefully as you might break the printed parts

Step 5: Doors installation

For the following step, please prepare:

Exoskeleton Rear Doors (2x)
Exoskeleton Front Doors (2x)


Sub-Steps:

Close the Rear Doors
Gently place back the front doors and closed them


Be gently when you place back the front doors

Step 6: Thank you!

  1. Not always easy to put together, but result is very good.
    Heavy vehicle, but goes forward quite smoothly (AWD version).
    I still need to adjust the esc so that the break function is disabled.
    Next weekend I will test everything extensively.
